Introduction
The idea to develop a Central Laboratory in UMPSA was submitted in 2009 and laboratory was completed by October 2010. Central Laboratory developed as proposed by MOSTI to fulfil the university needs of a centralised testing facilities, equipped with the latest technology and expertise.
Central Laboratory also main for the need to establish MS ISO/IEC 17025:2017 accredited laboratory which provides services on analysis for both internal and external user in surrounding area.

Up till now, Central Laboratory serves as a centre for technical services, trainings and consultations to all clients throughout entire Malaysia.
